About Us
We got started by helping our friends. They wanted to tackle an important project, but like all companies, they had plenty of other tasks on their plate and only so much time in the day. We had solved a similar problem before, and we offered to help. They accepted, so we launched Render (and we are forever grateful to our friends).
We help middle market companies improve accounting, finance and IT systems and processes, in order to give private equity sponsors and management teams the information they need to make better data-driven decisions.
We have experience as managers, board members and owners, and we understand your need to have real-time access to information that can help drive positive change at your companies. We also just enjoy helping people, so we use our skills and expertise to solve problems that create value. That’s why we chose the name Render, which means:
1. provide or give (a service, help, etc.).
2. cause to be or become; make.
Team
We worked together before we launched Render. We each have different skills yet we all enjoy creating things, solving problems and helping people. We figured that was a good foundation for starting a business. Here’s a bit more about us:
Doug Bodel, CFA
Partner
Doug is a co-founder of Render, where he is responsible for overall management of the firm, business development, and projects with a focus on performance improvement and mergers & acquisitions. Previously, Doug held senior operating roles and board positions at various portfolio companies of Westwind Investors, a private holding company. Prior to this role, Doug was a Principal at GLC in San Francisco, where he was responsible for originating middle market senior credit and mezzanine investments, managing restructurings and monitoring portfolio companies. Doug joined GLC from American Capital, a publicly traded buyout firm, where he helped grow the West Coast Sponsor Finance activities. Prior to this role, Doug was a Vice President in BNP Paribas’ Merchant Banking Group and an Equity Research Associate at UBS Warburg. Doug is a CFA Charterholder and holds a BA from McGill University where he graduated with Distinction.
Doug is a Canadian, who lives in Incline Village, NV with his wife, three sons and dog, Charlie. He is also a professional artist and editorial illustrator. His works were recently published in Powder Magazine. He enjoys training jiu jitsu, skiing, hiking, and reading.

Mike Lambeth
Partner
Mike is a co-founder of Render, where he leads all aspects of Render’s IT Systems & Data Management Services, with a focus on systems and business process improvement, data management, and business intelligence. Previously, Mike was the Head of Technology and Digital Marketing for Nutrient, a startup food company. He was also the architect for the technology infrastructure at Westwind Investors and its portfolio companies. Prior to that, Mike managed projects for EMPLOYERS and Microsoft. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Nevada-Reno.
Mike is a native of Reno, NV, where he lives with his wife, great dane, Logan and little dog, Lola. When not doing CrossFit, Mike can be found building custom motorcycles, renovating homes, or cheering on the Nevada Wolfpack.

Corey Ryan, CPA
Partner
Corey is a co-founder of Render, where he leads Render’s Reporting, Business Intelligence & Accounting Services, with a focus on business intelligence, accounting, corporate finance, process improvement and mergers & acquisitions. Previously, Corey was the CFO of Westwind Investors, a private holding company, overseeing operations and serving as an active director of its numerous portfolio companies. Prior to that, Corey held a senior finance role with Chromalloy, an aerospace manufacturing company owned by The Carlyle Group. Corey is a CPA and holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Nevada-Reno.
Corey is a native of Reno, NV, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. If he’s not chasing his three young kids around, Corey enjoys everything outdoors including backpacking, hunting, fishing and cycling.

Nicole Lawer
Consultant
Nicole is a consultant at Render, where she works on Render's Reporting, Business Intelligence & Accounting Services, with a focus on business intelligence, accounting, corporate finance, and process improvement. Previously, Nicole was the accounting manager at Greenfield FTC, a family trust company, where she was responsible for accounting processes and reporting. Prior to that, she was accounting manager at Westwind Investors, a private holding company. Prior to moving to Reno, Nicole worked in audit at KPMG in San Francisco. Nicole holds a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting and Marketing from the University of San Francisco.
Nicole is from Orange County and currently lives in Reno, Nevada with her two dogs, Tank and Tulip. She enjoys cooking, traveling and hiking.

Jordan Wright
Consultant
Jordan joined the Render team in July 2022, where he helps with IT and data management as well as business intelligence reporting. Prior to working with Render, Jordan pursued his dream of playing professional golf which allowed him to travel all around the world. Jordan holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Manufacturing from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
ordan is from Incline Village, NV but currently lives in Austin,Texas with his fiancée and two dogs. When he is not out golfing, Jordan is usually either at the gym, a local bar, or checking out local Austin food trucks.
